Do both of these raise TA? Or is it just Borax? Does one raise it more than the other? I want to add borates, but I’d like to avoid dumping in a ton of acid, as it’s hard for me to aerate. Thanks for the help!

Phosphates @ 2535 according to pool store. Say I need remover and to clean filter cartridges 3 x day which sounds horrible. Also say that none of the other tests are reliable with that high if phosphates. My water feels ‘sticky’ could that be from high phosphates? Help please.

Pool is perfectly balanced as to TFP standards but water feels a bit sticky. Is there something I can do or add to get that silky water feel?

Could my auto cover be harboring bacteria that’s causing my SLAM to take so long? I’m on day 3 and still not maintaining a SLAM level of 16… I’m closing the auto cover after every chlorine addition. It just seems stuck @ 14.5, time after time.
