Hey Guys, I switched my pool over to a swg through intex. Best thing I ever did. My plan this year was to leave the pool up all winter as we landscaped around it. My question is can I disconnect all the hoses and seal the pool with a good cover for the winter or do I need to do something...

kmb997 The best thing you can do for that new pool is upgrade the filter system. I went with a doughboy sand filter, it is awesome, no changing filters and always buying more. It is WELL worth the investment.

Hey andysutt, I have the same size pool. The 5 way test kit from Wal-Mart works pretty good. It's what I use. You can by cya from your local pool store (the only thing I buy there!) Then get your bleach from Wal-mart. The sock method works like a charm, test the cya 7 days after you hang the...

hey frustratedpoolmom... everyone here is correct, you are missing a skinny tube that has a black dot surrounded by white on the bottom. This is the test kit I use and it works well for my pool. WalMart will surely exchange it!!!
