FC was 9.5 ppm today. So I'm going to start running the filter and see how it goes. It's set to run at 65% for 9 hours.

Actually, I haven't been running my SWG at all, it was just originally set at 77% and that might be why my FC was so high? However, I was thinking I would just let it run tomorrow after testing the FC in the morning, just so it doesn't drop too much more. I also had to drain the pool somewhat...

Yes, I have the TF-100 Test kit, so I can determine my FC levels accurately. When I started this thread, it was at 16 ppm, and now it's at 11 ppm. So it IS coming down, it's just taking time.

Thank you. haha. I feel a little silly for not having discovered that myself... I'll go dial it down some and see if that helps, but also start making sure I pay closer attention to my CSI results too. I appreciate all of your help, and I agree, it would be money well spent.

Not yet - I wasn't sure what an acceptable setting was. Also - I want to check CSI, but I'm not seeing how/where this is done in the Pool Math app? Do I need to pay for the premium service to get it?
