Pool and equipment install last October. Pool was closed at the end of Oct. opened for the first time this May. So technically has been used for many total of 4 months. Is it typically for a cell to go bad that quick? Should I turn the cell off until we can inspect it or get it replaced?

I think so just because my initial CYA test after a gallon of stabilizer did not completely disappear the black dot. It looked like the mid point of the test. That’s why I thought I would wait until this afternoon and retest to see if it’s changes. If not add another gallon.

I added the liquid Stabilizer around 4:30pm yesterday afternoon. Should I wait and retest this afternoon (24hrs) for it to take affect? Do you think that would make a difference in testing results?

Ok the CYA end test looked like the Mid test so I assumed I am still at 20 then.

Gotcha on the SWCG does not consume salt and on being off when scheduled pump is off. How do I shut it completely off? So If I plan on scheduling the pump to be off I should probably do that at a time where I can manually shut the SWCG off.

Ok so should I wait until this PM and record the results to see if I lost any FC from this AM’s result? Or do I test tonight and then again in the morning AM to see if I lost any?

Ok with that after adding 2 gallons of chlorine last night (with a zero reading). Do I keep adding and retest or just retest throughout the day and again this evening to see if I’ve lost any? Also this am test I did have the SWG on at 20%. Not sure if that matters? Thanks

I thought I have to divide the number after I multiply the drops by .5 (10 ml) and .2 (25ml) to get the final number? Is that not the case?

Awesome! Is there a way to schedule the SWG % in line with the speed schedule or is that a manual entry? Example given above: Run pump 9hrs SWG at 82% (round to 80%)? My SWG has 20,40,60,80,100 % intervals. When I plug in my numbers in pool math this is what I get. That doesn’t seem right?
