Oh no. This salt cell is less than six month old :-(

It pops when salt cell is connected.

@Jimrahbe I unplugged the salt cell from the intellicenter and CB didn’t pop as well as I do see lights on the surge board. Something wrong with salt cell ?

@Jimrahbe I got new surge board today and replaced both surge board and CB but still did not work, again the CB popped. Any thoughts?

@Jimrahbe and @ajw22 I got new CB today, after connecting and turning the power, it popped. This confirm that it is bad surge board. I’m surprised as this was installed like six months ago. Is it worth going after Pentair warranty or just order new board myself ? Any reliable website where I can...

I removed entire breaker and then I was able to reset. Now it is not tripping but no power to the salt cell as well. Two ac inputs to surge board is giving me 3 volt which should be close to 30 volt(one input from the transformer and another from the CB)

I say that because I can’t reset my circuit breaker.

Do you mean circuit breaker ? If so, any recommendations where I can order them ?

Sorry, I was testing output from the transformer and output going from CB. The output of the transformer is 31v before going to the CB. Looks like bad CB ? 🤔

Yeah. That’s some internal mechanics of salt cell I learned today :-) Removed one of the AC wire from the surge card and another AC wire is connected permanently. It still pops the breaker.

Unplugged the salt from the bottom but still CB pops. It doesn’t stay back

@ajw22 Right CB does not reset. Not sure how to go about figuring for it to be tripping. Any thoughts?

I’m not seeing any lights in Intellicholor system and circuit breaker inside intellicenter seems to be tripped. Is it possible to reset or I have purchase new one circuit breaker ? Thanks!

Does it work under the water or do I have to drain the pool ?

Yes. I see the end of the pipe is wet and drips of water coming out but not constant flow though. I’m think adjusting the pipe angle should stop the drain but thinking do I need to.

It leads side of the pool and towards by back fence. Is there way seal this drain ?

Pool plumber got creative and drilled the hole in the skimmer for overflow. I might be loosing water because of the angle the pipe is laid. Is it right way to do it ? Any suggestions please. I’m in Texas and thinking whether I really need it.
