So I have to slam the pool. The current cya falls between 40-50 so I’m going with 50. Thr only thing is that on the salt reading I get 3400-3600 range( weird). So I slam or do I drain some water out then slam?

Ok so I I fail the OCLT then I do slam until I pass using the cya of 30/fc ratio correct? If I pass, add the rest of cya now or wait until I get the new salt cell?

Let me ask you do I go and add cya or do I wait until I get the salt cell replaced? I do have liquid chlorine to keep it a cya/fc ratio levels. Please advice.

I kept getting a troubleshoot light on the box. I took the cell to Leslie’s since it was purchased 1 year or so ago and they checked it and said it wasn’t working so need to get it replaced under warranty.

The reading I did with TFP kit came out at 3600. I willl be taking the salt cell to get checked out this weekend since it’s still under warranty.

The box system is giving me the orange light and indicating low salt at 2700 when I have higher than that so I should call Hayward? Or?

Yes I used the Leslie’s levels of CH and Cya. I have recorded reagents and will redo tests on Wednesday using the TFP kit

I redid the rest and the salt is minus 400 today using the kit. We did clean the filters and salt cell, system box saying salt is 2900. Also ran the other tests. I didn’t have liquids to test the calcium so I took the numbers from the Leslie’s test. I don’t understand the CSI

I do!! And made the mistake of going off the reading on the system instead of testing. I know I know if mistake. I just did the test and it reads at 3800 🤦🏻‍♀️ so I’ll need to drain like 12 inches. I was adviced to drain 2 feet.
