Understood. There are no bubbles at all. Which is what leads me to think if this mission fails, it has to be on the outlet (return) side. Which We will find out on Mission 2 (LOL) when/if I plug that.

LOL. It's all in my signature. Jandy is the filter, Hayward is the pump.

Also, when I open the outflow valve next to the Jandy, the water level in the strainer basket @ the Hayward goes to the top. Logic tells me there's an obstruction at the output side return to the pool? Yes?

Ok. Update. Vac'd it and has improved flow at outflow in pool, but not nearly where it should be. She's a great "tell" If I open the valve at the outlet side of the Jandy, the water comes out like a firehose. My guess is there's an obstruction at the outlet side?

Ok. I'll get out there now and mega shop-vac out that line... I can snake it too if needed. LOL.

Unfortunately, yes, I have been vacuuming directly... and have been for as long as I have owned the house (before the 2014 install of the pump)... and never had a problem. If the line is clear, why would that matter?

Would using an industrial shop-vac (yes, I have one LOL) be a better way to clear any possible obstruction? My thought would be to plug the inlet at the base of the skimmer, and then vac it from the pump...??

A picture of what? Everything that is in the system is in my signature... not sure what you want to see... but I'm happy to take a picture of it. The water level in the strainer basket remains in the same place when the power is off.
