Def a low pressure line, 8” WC or ~1/4 psi. Was thinking something like this with the other end of line capped off. I think I can pump air in directly through this gauge.

Great pool! new sod is looking dry; drench that sod; like puddle it; roots wont survive the heat. the goal would be to get the underlying soil wet initially; this require ALOT of water

can I use the thin set as 'grout' as well? or have to buy that separately? if the color was not of importance...

Electrical Conduit at pad corroded to dust and has no structural support (placed some tape and a rope for now. I'm thinking of wrapping it in high grade weather tape and then using a conduit or pinch clamp with an L bracket anchored to the concrete. Thoughts? don't want to do something stupid...

Perfect timing, as I am trying to modify my pump run time, rpm and SWG %. right now I run it at 40-50%, but considering dropping my pump run time and increasing my % as I had been under the impression a lower % increases life span. but I question that.

Hey! thanks for the follow up, Been busy with life (kids, work, etc..), Realistically, it will be months away for all pipe to be laid, but I am happy with my current progress!

not sure what the % of new pool builds are being financed vs cash; but affordability for loans will crush demand. patience :p

from a personal finance standpoint. Unless you have cash burning a hole in your pocket, best guesses would say raw price and labor will be lower next summer (or at least equal to now); dropping 100k or whatever your looking at is a big decision!

What a build! did you enjoy the DIY portions of it? your PB is not cool; did he ever try to ask for money, assuming he overran? How is the solar heater working out

depending on obstacles vs straight line and all that, that is a long run. when looking at $ parts, Id assume you need 2" pipe as well

how far is you gas source (NG or LNP?) from your proposed heater location?

Ya, I plan on laying out and soft installing the metal first so then I can dig my trench for alignment match up from risers (at both ends). At the heater it just says over 1”; I’m thinking I’ll drop down to 1.25” there since I’m coming from 2”, or just leave it at 2”? And then reducer into 0.75...
