    Z-Wave / Vera / Smartthings Pool Temperature - Solved

Is there a way using the current device handler to correct the temperature of the ds probe? I'm no programmer and took a look thru the code for somethings that stood out to change, but didn't see anything.

    Question on pool pump

I changed my sand at the beginning of this year, I'm not sure it has anything to do with it but here goes. When I hook up my auto cleaner it will run fine for about ten minutes with strong suction, and a strong flow from the return. After about ten minutes the cleaner will lose sution and just...

    Cloudy Water Help

I have had my pool open for about two weeks, and no matter what I do I can't get the water clear. I only have a cheap PH and FC test as of now, but plan to buy a more extensive test kit shortly. Both my PH and chlorine levels are dead on, but my water is still clear. The only other chemicals...

Anyway to smooth out the bottom of a AGP with water in it?

I've noticed since opening my pool this year that my liner has some wrinkles in it on the floor, making sweeping difficult. I know I may need to drain the pool somewhat, but can I smooth them out without completely draining it? It seems like the sand underneath isn't flat (it never was...

    Automatic Chlorinator Dangers

The chlorinator is sitting behind the sand filter. It is tube shaped and is inline with the return.

    Automatic Chlorinator Dangers

It is installed correctly. I made sure I read and re-read the directions before installing it. Since I have installed a shut off after the chlOrinator the smell has been less. Here are some pics. [attachment=1:d9865jbv]ImageUploadedByTapatalk1340142906.319625.jpg[/attachment:d9865jbv]...

Finally done with a hard pipe and electrical install

I have been working over the course of several weeks to change my pump and filter hoses to PVC. Also I wanted to install a automatic timer, and also a switch to turn my light on without walking around to the back of the pool. My next project is a deck. I mounted the switch and junction box on...

    Second rerturn in my AGP

i have played with moving the eye every which way and still get a small tornado almost everytime. I'm located in Indiana, so good point swimcmp, I didn't think about wintertime. Hard to think about snow when it's over 90 degrees today. lol

    Filling a new AGP

sorry for the delay. I had to drain the pool all but three inches and reset the liner, all is good now.

    Second rerturn in my AGP

My main return can be pointed down but when it is pointed down it creates a "water tornado" and makes an annoying sucking sound so i keep the return pointed slightly upward to keep a tornado from forming.

    Second rerturn in my AGP

I am thinking about putting a second return in my AGP. The main return is within about ten inches of the skimmer, and in my opionion does a poor job circulating the water on the bottom. My thought was since I have a extra return fitting, I would mount it six or eight inches off the bottom of...

    Automatic Chlorinator Dangers

I am fairly new to the whole pool world. I recently installed a 24' AGP with a 1HP Hayward pump and sand filter and a automatic chlorinator. Before starting the pool up I loaded the chlorniator up with about 8 3" pucks and started it up. Well I plumbed the filter and chlorinator with the...

    My first AGP build

I just finished putting in my 24' Venture. Do you think the skimmer opening and the return opening are a little too close together? Mine is only about 18 inches apart. With 96' to work with in wall I would have thought they could separate them a little more?

    Leaking hard pipe install

I finally finished my above ground pool install yesterday. And while I was waiting for the pool to fill I deceided to hard pipe the whole filter system from the skimmer to the return and the pump and filter. I bought normal PVC pipe and fittings, but already had some conduit glue for the...

    Filling a new AGP

I thought the same thing that the liner was hung not perfectly straight up and down but then again wouldn't it do that all the way around the pool. I cant see a way of pulling that section straight without pulling the other section off. The wrinkles are just rising as the water level rises...

    Filling a new AGP

I know this is a horrible picture but if you look to the left of the ladder you can see the wrinkles in the liner. Any thoughts?
