It's a good question, I've also felt that was high. I'm going to clean the filter and see if that helps. The pump is a Pentair Sta-Rite Supermax VSP if that matters. Maybe the flow meter needs to be checked as well.

OK, after going back out to check on it, it now show 31V, 1 Amp. Testing voltage at the salt cell end of the cable shows 35V. The cell has nearly 40,000 amp hours on it, not sure if that's good or bad. I'll try cleaning it again.
