I have a friend that recently had new pool installed and the builder installed a multi cyclone, he said the thing picks up so much debris he feels like cleaning his quad filter will need to be done only once a year.

When you say back pressure valve do you mean something like a check valve so the water will not return to the pre filter? I think I follow you and thanks for the info... really appreciate!

I would like to plumb a pre-filter like the Multicyclone however I have a DE filter and cant seem to find a diagram as to how I add a bypass when adding DE. Also can I place the Multicyclone after it runs through the pump just prior to entering the DE filter or will that lower the pressure going...

I had the Easy Touch remote for probably 8 years before the battery holder inside corroded and became useless so I installed the Screenlogic Interface and used my iPad or Android phone for the past 2 years. Thanks Jim for the info, and yes the light comes on the salt gen as I replaced couple years ago but the system is over ten years old.. just have to look at the lights on the generator from time to time!

Hey Jim is the app the ScreenLogic Connect that was last updated 9-30-18 in the google play store. If so can you tell me why it will never display a Salt Level? It displays Pool and Spa output and I can adjust it but my salt level always displays 0 any ideas or help I would greatly appreciate!

Had the same situation with my remote and replaced with the app, trouble is its not always 100% and fails from time to time.
