Had my s200 since July and I think it's having problems. When I plug everything in and press start, the robot will go back and forward for maybe 2 min and stop. Control panel light still on but robot light turns off. After turning it on and off a couple of times, it may finally complete a while...

Dolphin S300i Didn't Even Last a Year - Non Robot Alternatives?

I also leave my A20 in a shed that I store my chemicals in... Should I separate them? Shed is about 15'x8'. Should I just leave it in the pool?

    Thinking About Converting

I put a little acid in about every 3 or 4 weeks but my ph didn't fluctuate much before SWG either. much better than adding chlorine daily and carrying/buying so many jugs. best things I've done to the pool were 2 speed pump, SWG, and Active 20 cleaner. my maintenance time/effort has decreased...

Need help picking a robotic cleaner

I'm the type that wants all the features on things I buy but thought about it for awhile before deciding on getting the A20/S200($659) instead of the A30i/S300i($899). My main reason? After the newness of the robot wears off, I'll rarely sit there and baby sit my cleaner and most likely only use...

Just ordered the Active20! but i'm not sure if the warranty is the same as the Nautilus plus or worse. :/ Active 20 is $659 shipped and Nautilus Plus is $669 shipped.

Dolphin Nautilus Plus with CleverClean REVIEW

Is there a big difference between standard Nautilus vs Nautilus Plus? Worth the extra ~$100? Just trying not to buy these extra features if I really wont use them. I'll most likely just set it and forget it..

Is the phone feature worth having? And can you control the movement/direction of the robot with the phone app?

    signs of a failing pump?

Hi TFP, I noticed recently the return flow seemed to be really low and pressure has dropped from 15psi to less than 5. I can hook up my kreepy krawler and it'll work for about 2 min but the cleaner will eventually stop working because there's not enough suction. I cleaned out the pump basket...

    Cant reduce High pH level

How soon can I retest pH after adding ma? 15min?

    Cant reduce High pH level

Sweet I'll try that. And yes that's one of few that haven't been used up since I bought the kit. Its been really stable at 7.6 for 2 years. I used a lot of pucks to raise the cya so could that be the reason why pH rises so much?

    Cant reduce High pH level

8.0 is the highest. You're saying it's probably way over 8.0?

    Cant reduce High pH level

So I tested the tap water and it's showing about 7.0 is that about right? Drops can still be bad?

    Cant reduce High pH level

PH drops about 3yrs old. Reason why I question it. I've checked every time and it shows the same results. I'll check tap water ph and see what it says. Thanks scon36

    Cant reduce High pH level

So I've been trying to reduce my pH level if 8.0 by pouring in the amount of muratic acid the pool calculator suggests. For some reason, the level will not drop. Can my testing agent be bad?

    Low CH

well I guess I'm actually turning over more than 50% of the water over the winter.. would algae eat up CH as well?
  21. N

    Low CH

Is it common to have low CH constantly? I seem to have a lot of trouble maintaining CH. This year I started out with around 90 but I'm pretty sure we closed around 200. Seems like every year I have to add a butt load of CH at the beginning of the year. My pool is not covered over the winter...

    Completely frustrated...

if your tired of being frustrated with the pool, get a tf-100 or k2006 test kit and get your own test results.

Convinced!! Now to convert from Pristine Blue

Are you sure the 30,375 Gal is correct? I had to play with the pool size until the chemicals added = chemicals measured according to pool calculator.

    Revitalizing an old fiberglass pool

I'll have to remeasure but i think it has the same dimensions but only 8 ft deep. im not sure about the exact gallons but 11k was what worked out for me when i was figuring out the chemical quantities to pool size. I would like to resurface but not sure how to since it will require a drain...

    very slight algae

have you tried raising fc? I thought that there is a disclaimer saying that the charts are just a rule of thumb and it may be different from pool to pool. try keeping it at a higher fc level. it couldn't hurt.. it may be possible that your cya reading is off? thought i read somewhere that it...

    Swamp Help Please

have you backwashed yet? if not, then there's your reason why your not seeing much improvement. keep shocking and keep filtering at your normal PSI range. i wouldn't backwash when your fc is high since that will be wasting chlorine.
