    You still think there is a problem with the ignitor, even though the continuity test reviled it is working properly? I can get a new ignitor from Amazon and try it out and if it won't fix my issue, I can always return it... it worth a shot. Thanks, Rob

    Reassembled everything and also cleaned the connections from AFS to the Fenwal. I checked the air inlet to make sure there is nothing blocking the air intake (picture 15.jpg)..... and it looked clean. Unfortunately, same behavior as I initially reported after everything were back in place...

    So I Tested the AFS for continuity and it seems like I have a closed circuit when I either blow through the pressure tube and suck on the vacuum tube. The meter beeps and throws a number and I also hear a click. I also tested the Ignitor for continuity and it is also showing it has continuity...

    no I didn't. how do I do this test? Should the heater be turned on? what settings should I have the multimeter set to?

    @PoolGate, How about replacing the airflow switch? I took the 2 tubes off the AFS and blow right through them and tubes are wide open..

    Blower fan starts immediately after heater is turned on and I can feel air coming out of the vents from the top of the unit. I removed the tubes and checked to make sure they are not clogged. The unit is clean and free from any nests. Haven't checked inside the fan... not sure how to check it...
