Brainstorming options to aerate (to lower TA) and improve water clarity.

I cannot agree more about the pool stores... I just went to HD to stock up on chlorine. So here we go: I started SLAM one hour ago. took a FC and CC test right before I started and I was back at 0 FC added 3 gallons of chlorine bleach 7.5% as per SLAM table and POOLMATH. waited 1.5 hour...

Reading a few more threads lead me to measure my ammonia levels, we have 0.5ppm level of ammonia. I am not sure if that is acceptable or high. In an aquarium I would act. I am going to go gather SLAM supplies ie. Chlorine.

Well, in this case my wife is French so it's officially "Petanque" and not Bocce. I'll snap photos when we are done, but it seemed like a good use of a long strip in the back of the yard. Easy to throw down a corn hole set as well.

Plain jane white plaster. No finish, no nothing. You can see how much dirt has accumulated on the bottom this winter as my robot is currently striping it clean, lol...

    Waterline tile Help!!!

Black would be a total nightmare to keep clean here as well. I also went with white, and it's been great. Light gray would work as well.

New build - St George UT

Yes. I like your design but I'd go deeper than 5.5 feet. At least 6 IMHO for that size pool. I also think the very small round step into the pool is a bit dated looking, I'd do something that goes futher down your benches. I have a 30 foot pool and have 4 globrites fwiw. I think lighting...

    Shallow End too Deep (UPDATES)

Well, you can always add material at this stage and make it more shallow. The opposite is much more difficult.

Good morning! If the pool color stays this way then wow. Thank you YipeeSkippy for the great advice. Mitt ordered! Had a bit of trouble sleeping last night for fear of flooding the pool!
