Update Had my EVO 614IQ a little over a month now. Bought it per Jimrahbe’s recommendation. We went on vacation for a week and it ran on schedule everyday we were gone. Was even able to check on my phone and see that it was running at 300 miles away..😂😂😂 Came back and pool was clean as ever...

Welcome! You are in the right place. Moderators and people on here are great. I put my pool in 4 years ago. Going by the recommendations of TFP, my pool has never been slammed or shocked since the day it was put in. Pool store hates me but oh well!!! 🤷🏻‍♂️🤷🏻‍♂️🤷🏻‍♂️😂😂😂😂

So far haven’t had any problems but…I’ve only unplugged it 2 or 3 times. It lives in the pool most of the time…. Only time it’s been out of the water was to clean the filter. I’m well satisfied. I’m like Jim tho. I would rather it had a threaded water tight connector..

Jim, u should be getting a commission from the EVO people……just convinced me I need the 614IQ robot. 😂 I’ll be calling Margaret in the morning to order one with the fine filter. Do they have an extra fine filter or do u know?

With CYA at 70 in your Salt Water pool you should be targeting a FC level of 8-10 ppm. The minimum is 5 ppm. At 4 ppm you are staying below the minimum requirement for a CYA of 70. I would try to keep it on the high end 8-10 ppm, especially in hot weather….don’t take long below minimum to...

Timmco….I’m in NE Texas. With the hot weather we’ve had for the last week, I’ve been using on average 3.5 to 4ppm a day in my 16600 gallon pool. My pool is in full sun most of the day. I would say your usage is pretty normal.

Just bought two 6 gallon cases of LC here in East Texas today. Lowe’s had plenty. Had to move buckets of pucks out of the way to get to the LC. Shortage not here yet……..
