I have also noticed on the areas where I am able to pull the texture off, there is a green mold (second photo), doesn't this rule out stucco?

Is this return serviceable? I can't tell if this is glued or if it is removable like the pool returns. There are no inside removal channels like the pool returns yet there is some type of union.
