So after a LONG bit of delays i finally got concrete. Ended up being 50yards, a little more than i wanted but with the delays the rain had washed my sun-shelf out quite a bit so it is pretty much shot solid concrete. I have a plumbing question... I have a single CMP 20" ring main drain capable...

So I listened to your guys advice went with the IntelliCenter w/ic40 and changed the globrites to the microbrites. We dug yesterday and today they knocked out a good majority of form and steel. I will get some more pics tomorrow when the sun is out!

    New construction plumbing question?!?

Hey all, so after going back and forth with the engineer that drew up my plans she is saying that my water features will not work when in spa mode, unless I put another pump in. Looking at the plumbing diagram I have attached I believe i understand as to why she is saying this (jandy 2 way...

There is 1 skimmer next to the sunshelf. I was thinking about upgrading the filter for a few more $$. Originally I was going to do chlorine, but I was told the salt would be better for the kids. So I am all for that route. I wanted to post my equipment info here for these particular reasons...

as much as we loved the designs up above by GP2, they just were not going to be able to fit in the budget. Here is a new design, with the help of GP2.... Thoughts / input? Thoughts on a 3 vs 4" main drain stack? How many jets (supplies??) would you put in the main pool? I am looking at going...

Kim, With an unlimited budget I do like that large lap pool. However it is def. not in our price range. The house is 70' wide, we are looking to keep the pool around 350-375sqft and a decent sized sunshelf. We are trying to keep as much of the design on the right side of the aerial because it...

I want the sunshelf to be in the sun, so away from shady area. Right now (summer) there is not a shady area, so I am glad that I looked at this aerial to remember. Pool depth preferably 4-6.5’ We are going back and forth on a 12” raised spa or a flush incorporated spa

If you are looking at the aerial view the top of the picture is north. Foot print I want to stay between 350-400 for pool, 100-120sqft sunshelf, and a 6x6-7x7 spa

I will get some actual pics of the back yard. But I am able to attach an aerial now. This was taken in January in the middle of our 90degree "winter", and it appears to be morning time so the shade that the roof pitch casts will be cut in half come the middle of the day, but still prevalent...
