    Wiring for Timer Box

http://waterheatertimer.org/How-to-wire-T104-Intermatic-timer.html According to this A is used for a second 240 load. Do you have two devices on this timer? Edit: still doesn’t look right. I’m stumped.

    Wiring for Timer Box

Is it possible the timer motor was swapped out at some point with a WG1570 which would run on 120v and require its own neutral?

I think that might be a neutral to run the timer on 110v?

    Does Neighbor’s Pump Sound Right?

For context my equipment pad is in the enjoyable envelope of my pool area (not tucked in the back corner of the property line) and I can have it running at 3K with my heat pump running and it drowns into the environment as a hum. This thing sounds like a jet engine, I assume even for a SSP this...

    Does Neighbor’s Pump Sound Right?

The pump runs all day and night. I can be standing next to my pool equipment which is 200ft from the neighbor’s equipment and hear their pump over mine. It’s low key driving me a bit mad. I have a VSP which even on its highest RPM setting is a whisper compared to this. Thoughts? 79e-1t_NvAA

Coming down from SLAM - numbers check.

Coming down from SLAM. My PH was low (7.2) and my CH was sub 50 (I know it’s a vinyl pool but I have a heat pump and would prefer to gradually get my CH up to manufacture recs) so I added a bit of calcium chloride. These are my numbers as of today. Is there anything I should be doing or let...

    Pool base crack under liner

Pool is 3 years old - bottom is vermiculite and otherwise very smooth. After opening earlier this month I noticed at the top of the transition from shallow to deep end this crack appeared. Can I knock/tamp the edges of the crack down to smooth it out, I just leave it alone?

Been SLAMing for 10 days. Stalled with a slight green tint in deep end.

Well, it cleared up. I guess it just needed a couple more days. I have yet to do an OCLT but when I turn my light on at night the water no longer glows green. I’m gonna keep it at SLAM a few extra days and then let the FC come down a bit. We got 3” of rain the other day.

Been SLAMing for 10 days. Stalled with a slight green tint in deep end.

By significant pressure it was enough to drop my flow where my heat pump turned off. I’d say I went from 16psi to close to 30 after a few hours. That was 2 cups DE. I’ll backwash and try again. Earlier last week I was testing every few hours but I didn’t see any significant loss of FC I can...

Been SLAMing for 10 days. Stalled with a slight green tint in deep end.

I added DE but my pressure rose significantly. One thing is I don’t have a main drain. I’ve been running my robot to help circulate. I could up my manual vacuuming. I’m testing and adding 2X a day. I over shot my FC so last week I was adding minimal chlorine. My FC over night was only losing...

Been SLAMing for 10 days. Stalled with a slight green tint in deep end.

CYA is ~50 and FC is 20. I’m brushing 2X every day and I have my robot running almost 24/7. Pump is running 24/7. But the deep end still has a green tint. Is it possible the green tint is something else besides algae? Pool was a swamp when I opened but it cleared up very quickly. I’m starting to...

Water behind liner after opening pool

Liner is 1 and a half years old. The water was cloudy so the picture didn’t come out well. I’ll try again. I used a broom handle to squeegee the bubble up over the water line and I think it spread out so it’s almost not noticeable but still squishy to the touch. I was trying to get the liner...

Water behind liner after opening pool

I just opened my pool an hour ago, i noticed a spot about the side of a dinner plate and a few squishy spots next to it on my liner wall just below the water line. What is my best course of action?

    Seals on Gizmos failed

i think he was saying i will be fine blowing out antifreeze in and around my pool (since my equipment is all away i can't run it to waste)

    Seals on Gizmos failed

Yeah. I guess I’ll drop another $30 on antifreeze and redo the lines. I would think there is enough antifreeze in them now to be okay but I’ll redo them. Problem is now I need to blow pink antifreeze out of the lines and make a mess. Maybe I can snake a hose in the lines and syphon it out.

    Seals on Gizmos failed

I should have taped the threads - We just had about 10" of rain this week. I pulled the top plug out of one of my Gizmos to check to make sure my skimmer lines were still drained and sure enough the water inside of the gizmo was up to the pool water level - When i closed my pool i put 4 gallons...

    Hayward ecostar on generator

I have a Honda 7000is and it sends out cleaner power than the power company. I installed a transfer switch to my house. Best way to run the pool pump would be to have that circuit on the transfer switch so you can run the pump as well as other circuits at the same time. I run my whole house...
