    Pool Cover question

Hello everyone. We have moved into a new home and the fall leaves are killing me with the pool. I’m considering a cover, but we have a hot tub with spill over that I’d like to keep available for use. Is it possible to add a pool cover to the pool while not closing down the pool (the pool and...

    Instapark Betta review

We purchased a Betta SE about a month ago. We love it. It does a fantastic job of keeping leaves and other debris that falls in our pool from having time to sink to the bottom. So far we haven't had any issues, but I did buy the 3 year warranty recently to help in case we have any issues in...

Pentair skill for Alexa is showing up now (was removed for a few months). Not yet linking correctly

Glad it's working for you. I'm showing that it's not available (I can't see it on my phone when I search for Pentair Screenlogic and get the attached error when I try and pull it up on a computer).

Everthing is set in place. They hopefully come build the structure around the tanning ledge this week and then pour the concrete early next week.

New Pool - Newnan, GA - Inground Fiberglass Pool

We're in the process of getting an inground fiberglass pool installed. It goes quickly. My kids were playing in it (in only about a foot of water) last night and they started the initial dig the day before. Here's some pictures of the progress.

Backwashing sand filter with a Salt Water pool

We're having a fiberglass pool installed here soon (come on builders) and are trying to plan many things out. One thing that's come up is that I will need to backwash my sand filter (this is our first pool, so please forgive the initial ignorance). We're on septic so that's not an option and...

New Pool Build - Cartridge filter (rather than sand) to get around backwashing.

We're signed our contract, but are waiting to be scheduled for an install of an inground fiberglass pool. We've been quoted a sand filter, but i'm concerned about backwashing. The two suggestions seem to be watering the lawn with backwash (which i don't want to do as we're going to have a salt...

    Hello from Newnan, GA

Sounds fair. Thanks for the breakdown. I agree completely, either way, I'm going to definitely get a VS pump down the road (even without the regulation).

I've driven through there before, but that's about all I can say. Thanks for the welcome!

    Hello from Newnan, GA

Thanks for the suggestions! I hadn't thought about the IC40, but I'll ask. From talking to the PB, the VS pump is another $700 (which seemed kinda high). Am I going to be really sorry not getting the VS pump? (equipment will be about 40' away from the pool. We're also debating a robot...

    Hello from Newnan, GA

Hello everyone, We are about to start our jorney to being pool owners. Neither my wife or I have ever owned a pool before (or even lived in a house with a pool), so we're both excited and a tad nervous. We're scheduled to get a 12k gallon fiberglass pool with a tanning/toddler ledge installed...
