Is the pool completely filled with water? If not, then yes definitely. Intex pools sometimes have a slight bow along the longer rails even when filled. As @ajw22 noted pics are helpful :)
Hi,
Welcome to TFP. Can you please fill in your account details and maybe list your equipment in your signature. It will make it easier to identify your equipment.
The Outback pool is a model offered by Barrier Reef Fiberglass Pools LLC. Models: Outback Dundee and Outback Escape
There is...
My thought after having (2) Intex pools would consider putting down about 2 inches of process and use a gas-powered compactor to compress it, then put the mat on top of it (interesting idea not sure anyone else has tried this sort of mat). On my first build (second install) I had 4-inch-thick...
I would be interested to see what the measurement is in a few months once the ground has had a chance to settle/compact under the weight. It will all depend on how much ground was disturbed vs left virgin. But you should really be fine.
Stop the sandbags and gallon jugz. I have a much better solution

I then use pallet wrap to hold the excess tarp down and protect the legs a bit more...
For anyone that has a rectangular Intex pool and want a clamping mechanism to hold your cover in place this is it. Finally got them and very pleased...
In addition to the clamps, I do "saran warp" the pool in order to protect the exposed areas as best I can.
Here is mine (Just closed it yesterday). I do it every year. I still have to wrap it down further as I like to protect the legs of the pool the best I can.
Each year I learn a little more and find ways to improve. This year I am doing my usual closing but wanted to hold down the winter cover a little better than I have in the past. I came across these. Besides being expensive anyone else try this or something similar? There are clamps also on...
If your upgrading the pump to something that of an industry standard, you might as well upgrade the intake and returns to 1.5" PVC as well to take advantage of the pumps capability.
Home Depot or a company that provides moving materials. I have used palette wrap now for 4 years. Intex however is different in my opinion. Soft sided pool I do not want jugs blowing up against and rubbing the liner, there is no real way to secure it to the pool (rectangle is more difficult)...
Close it just like any other above ground pool. I try to protect mine a little more from the elements but other than that no issue...

Like many others I converted my Intex pool to PVC to allow the connection of industry standard equipment. With that presented some interesting problems as with soft sided pools (more so with the rectangular ones) hanging PVC off it places unnecessary pressure on the vinyl. I have seen various...
The soft sided pools can be left up and the closing is really the same in respect to chemical balance. There are 2 thoughts on the water level in draining below the intake/return or not. I am on the no drain side. Our Intex was up for 3 years with zero issues. We sold it and went bigger, and...
They use entirely different plugs, and it is illegal to wire one countries system into another. Maybe you can find an adapter plug?
Frequency should not matter unless this has a motor. As this is a resistive load (eg: a heating element), you'll probably be OK.
There are quite a few moving pieces here and really would want to know the make and models of the pool, pump, filter, and heater along with any pictures.
My initial thought is a "standard" pump/filter are designed to work with industry standard plumbing (1.5" - 2"). You can adapt them down to...
And building up vs not digging down to virgin soil is not a recommended method of leveling. I would be concerned of potential washout under your retaining 4x4s.
Note this is not my image but taken from another post of TFP.
I am actually playing around with using this for my hoses:

Also converted all my clamps to these:

First off you have to understand what the L5-20P plug is and rated for.
These are rated for: 20amp - 125 volt and are twist lock
The twist lock is the important aspect as it is a code requirement for some areas (between 5-10 feet from water).
Next you need to be on a 20amp circuit. Not just the...
