    Swapping to SWG

I purchased and installed a RJ60 from discount salt pool last year. It works very well and between the pump run time and the chlorine generator output, I'm able to keep the chlorine where it needs to be. I'd recommend getting a Taylor salt test kit to find out where your salt levels are and add...

Can anyone help me find a 1.5" slip to 1.5" FIP PVC Union.

I THINK what you're looking for is called a 1 1/2" slip to 1 1/2" FPT PVC adapter. Like this: 1-1/2" PVC Schedule 40 Female Adapter SLIP x FPT or, If you're needing unions, you could buy two, one threaded, one slip, and then swap parts between the two to get the configuration you want. If...

    Pentair CCP520 cartridge?

How old are the filter cartridges? What is your normal psi? A clogged filter would result in higher than normal pressures.

Return pvc pipe leak at the joint, how easy is it for zero plumbing exp guy?

Do you know what the pipe does? I looks like it might be a fill line. If it is, you'll want to shut off the supply upstream before starting any repairs.

Return pvc pipe leak at the joint, how easy is it for zero plumbing exp guy?

The Flex Tape is supposed to work in wet environments... The pipe doesn't have to be inserted all the way, but you'll get the strongest bond if it does.

I don't think you want to use that ball valve. The plastic ball valves are notorious for breaking. I'd recommend a Jandy or Pentair 2-way valve: Custom Molded Products 2 Way Valve 1 1/2 Inside / 2 Outside 25912-154-000 - 4724 - INYOPools.com You might also want to verify the size of the pipe...

    Is salt just salt?

I just installed an RJ60+. When I bought the Taylor K-1766 test kit last summer, it showed 1200ppm. So I bought salt based on that number (without rechecking) this summer. Long story short, I bought too much salt as as the salinity had increased to 1600 in a year of using liquid chlorine...

Connecting the Intelliflo pump to the Intellitouch com ports

I've recently swapped out our single speed pump in favor of an Intelliflo VS (011028) and added a Circupool RJ60+ SWG. Everything is up and running except I need to connect the pump to the Intellitouch com ports. The Intellitouch has the i9 plus 3 personality board. I found an online manual...

@Jimrahbe Got it wired up this afternoon and it seems to be working AOK. Thank you again for all of the help. I'm getting ready to post a question on wiring the new Intelliflo pump to my Intellitouch in the pumps section if you're available, I'd appreciate the help with that too!

@Jimrahbe Could use a little guidance on this. Which side is the load side? I'm thinking it's the side with the wires that go out to the pump, but want to make sure. Also, since I was redoing some plumbing to add the SWG, I removed the old booster pump for the pressure side cleaner. The...

    Fixing or replacing pool pump?

@Eric2021 I just installed a Intelliflo pump for our pool. The old pump is a Whisperflo with a new motor that was replaced about a year ago. It's yours if you want it, just cover shipping. I'm in Reno, so it shouldn't be to expensive to ship and should arrive fairly quickly. I still have the...

Is this a dumb idea with Variable Speed pump?

That's kind of what I was thinking. If you normally use the pool at a certain time, run the pump at a higher speed for xx hours to adequately skim the surface before jumping in, lower speeds the rest of the time.
