Which route to go....Gas Heater, Heat Pump, Spa Heater??

Yeah, I'm not a fan of being the 1st gen guinea pig but not sure what else to do at this point. The ultra temp heater does come in a nice package compared to the extra space/plumbing needed for two separate units. I'm going to hunt for feedback on how its been holding up thus far.

Which route to go....Gas Heater, Heat Pump, Spa Heater??

yeah, i hate our governor but idiots keep voting him in office. Everyone is complaining about their gas bills now. I agree, its an artificial scarcity to pinch us even further. The heat pump sounds great since I'll have my pool warmer longer but still not sure on what to do with the spa. I'd...

Which route to go....Gas Heater, Heat Pump, Spa Heater??

Hey All, I live in SoCal and have solar on my home. I'm going to be upgrading my equipment soon and was considering a few options to save money on utilities. At my previous home we had a Pentair mastertemp 400 which worked awesome! I was considering replacing the existing old/crusty heater with...

Can you DIY plaster a spa?

Yeah, I'm thinking of this route. Just called a contractor and they want 5k for the spa...doing pool/spa will run 12-15k, which I rather do since everything will be updated and most likely last a lot longer. Thanks for the tips. I had seen there are patch repair kits that I can buy for $100-$300...

Ok ok...here are pics... I bought the house and the seller claimed everything was awesome..until it wasn't. He always had the pool running when I came to view the property. But lets not get into what should have transpired to prevent the situation. Long story short, I hired a leak detection...

Can you DIY plaster a spa?

I agree. I tried and tried but nobody wanted to follow through. My neighbor is having their new pool done right now. I almost wanted to piggy back off their job and have the guys come right over after they're done plastering his to do my spa since the crew/machines will be there already.

Can you DIY plaster a spa?

The spa plaster has cracks so it drains back into the pool and below the decking. So, when the pump is off the spa fills the pool up over the auto-drain level thus losing water. Who knows how much is going into the decking from the cracks on the seating area. I have the spa shut off and empty...

Can you DIY plaster a spa?

Hello All, I bought a new home with a pool/spa...After a few months of noticing the pool always filling I found out my spa had cracks in the pebble tech. So, I called around..got a bunch of flakey contractors saying they're too busy to replaster the spa. I had one guy give me a price, I...

Need help with setting up Actuator Valves on EasyTouch Please

Ok, I usually leave it in OFF position once it's where it needs to be because I though it would burn up the motor in the actuator....so, it was my lack of understanding that was the issue. I switched them on the appropriate ON position and this fixed it!!! Thanks a lot. Now, I gotta figure out...

It looks like the main body is the same as my intellifo VS. I wonder if I can just buy a VS motor and slap it on the body.

    Booster Pump way too strong

Hey Everyone, I did an owner-build pool so I really don't have anyone to blame but myself for not knowing what I didn't know. Basically, I added 6 more jets in my spa for a total of 12 and was advised by the plumber that I needed a booster pump. I called the supply house and was told that a...

    Easytouch Wiring Questions

My lights run off a transformer that’s sent to a relay. But now that I think of it if I throw a gfci outlet in the middle then it’ll be a waste of an outlet if it’s only on when the relay allows it to be. Thanks for raising that question
