    WaterGuru - A Test

Ok so I received my lab test results. Anyone here care to analyze them? Do I need to worry about the phosphates? My pool is crystal clear. Last year I had the water tested at my local pool store and phosphates were high so I treated it with a phosphate remover and it ended up being a headache...

    WaterGuru Sense Test v. TF-100

My mod using a small bucket. Cut out the bottom to fit and allow the skimmer door to operate. Also drilled holes for overflow. Works great.

    WaterGuru Sense Test v. TF-100

I definitely like it. It seems to be pretty accurate for me. I shocked my pool the day it was delivered and when I installed it I was alerted to the high fc level. Ph was 7.2 and I added borax and the next day it was 7.5. Pretty much on par with the taylor kit. FC max seems to be 10ppm in the...

    WaterGuru - A Test

I got it hooked up. I cut a small bucket up and drilled holes in it for the overflow. Works perfect.

    WaterGuru Sense Test v. TF-100

I finally got it installed. For those of you with an ag pool with a smaller skimmer, here is my fix: a small bucket, cut out the bottom and drill holes for overflow. It won't let me post a pic. I will try later.

    WaterGuru Sense Test v. TF-100

I just ordered it. I have a 21' ag, so the skimmer is smaller than an ig pool (7"). I will have to fabricate some kind of adapter to make it fit. I have read good things about the guru so I am hopeful that it works. I will report back after it comes in.

Well I ordered it. I hope it works with my skimmer. If not I will figure something out so it is secure. I am eager to compare it to the Taylor kit.

I may just try that. I could also secure it with velcro so it stays in place. I think I'm going to take the plunge. Oh, I better ask you first, has your testing still been within specs? Edited to add: Within specs meaning - within range of your test kit. Thanks again.

    WaterGuru - A Test

Wonder if I can make this work? I know the Guru insert measured about 8-1/4", but maybe I can slit it and make it fit. The other end should fit into my existing skimmer. It's an above ground so if it sticks up it wouldn't matter. As long as the tether on the guru is long enough to reach down...

Yea, it looks like some fabrications would be necessary. Thank you very much.

    WaterGuru - A Test

Is it possible for someone that has the waterguru to take a precise measurement for me to the points in the attached pic? I am trying to determine if this will fit down into a 7" round skimmer hole. Thanks.

    WaterGuru - A Test

Thanks. I asked waterguru and they said as long as my skimmer is 8" it will work. Unfortunately mine measures about 7.25" so I guess I'm outta luck. Unless someone who has one can confirm that a homemade adapter of some sort can be made to work? I know that fabricating one to fit a bigger hole...

    WaterGuru - A Test

Thanks for all the info on this thread. I am considering purchasing the waterguru. I was looking at the Sutro, but can't bring myself to justify the high price. Can you tell me if this will fit in a 21 foot round above ground skimmer, or is it strictly for inground pools? Also, is there an...
