Omnilogic will only display temperature if the flow sensor detects flow. So your issue may be with the flow sensor.

That might be part of the issue... These are not meant to be adjusted with a wrench. I almost guarantee that the clamp has a very specific torque setting and therefore should be tightened with a torque wrench to the setting. You would have to check the manual.

Not sure on your particular model but with mine there is a drain plug at the bottom of the filter housing. I simply remove the drain plug and wash out the inside with a garden hose.

I’m going on a couple years with mine and no issues with leaks at all. However when I put mine back together I follow the torque specifications in the manual for the clamp. Maybe that makes the difference.
