There was some dichlor shock left from previous owners. Can a pool with SWG be non-chlorine?

    Leak??

Suspicious of a leak, seem to be adding more water than usual. Tried the bucket test for 24 hours, results in photos. Air temp high 80s, water temp low 80s. Do these results indicate a leak,

    Vinyl liner design wearing off

Have a vinyl liner that looks to have been installed sometime in 2016, based on documentation provided by previous owner. Patter on liner seems to be slowly coming off in spots. Not sure what could be causing this? Any chemical imbalance that would do this? Chlorine level? Older Dolphin robot I use?

    Leafy Green Algae

Hello! Opening our pool this year to a thick coating of leaf like green algae. This is my 3rd season opening the pool, haven't had algae like this before. When I brush the pool it stirs it up, and it almost looks like small green leaves floating in the water, but it is actually algae. It then...

Removed winter cover - pool is green and dirty!

Thanks! TA is 70. I have a K2005 kit from previous owner. I test everything but chlorine with that kit. Purchased a separate FAS-DPD test kit for chlorine. I'll get that info into signature!

Removed winter cover - pool is green and dirty!

Removed mesh winter cover, and pool is very green and dirty! Could barely see to bottom in 3' shallow end, no chance of seeing the bottom in the deep end! Starting first SLAM process, checked pH first and got it in range. Want to confirm, I should stick with only chlorine and not use any...

    Strange item inside filter

I have a Hayward Perflex EC75 filter. When closing the pool yesterday and disassembling, I found the item in the photos inside the filter housing. I have no idea what it is or where it may have come from. Any ideas???
