Pool was cloudy blue yesterday but today it has a green tint. Could this be from metals in the pool? It was filled with well water.

Yes it's a single cartridge. I used the filter I had it was 2 years old. Thought the filter was the problem so i went and bought a new one and its doing the same thing. New filter worked good for about 4 hours then stated to slow down again.

The water comming off the filter doesn't look that dirty thats why I'm confused on why its clogging that quick

I've dont the ammonia thing twice first time fc was at 4.8 second time was at 8.4. Is it possible it was really that easy to get rid of the ammonia? Gonna test fc again in 10 minutes to see where it's at

Is it ok to do the ammonia thing anytime of the day or is it better to do it in the morning/evening? And should I keep the filter out or in?

Drained the pool to 18 inches. Got in and got all the leaves out. Had way more then I thought there was. Also had the water pump pumping out water while it was filling up just to get more clean water in! Now the pool is filing up. When it's filled should I balance the water first or get rid of...

Ordered the Taylor k-2006 test kit and should get it Tuesday what do I do to maintain the algae until I receive it? Wouldn't want algae to get out of control again. It's a 15000 gallon above ground pool.

Only went there to get a second testing. I know there is a problem and now I know it's not the ph or alkalinity causing it to be cloudy. Its algae and I was only wondering if it was normal for filter to be clogging up. Have had pool for 7 years and this has never happened when opening it up...

All I have are test strips they only read chlorine up to 10ppm so not really sure how high it actually is Total Hardness - 250 Total Chlorine - 10? Free Chlorine - 10? pH - 7.2 Total Alkalinity- 120 Stabilizer - 10 Also took a sample to the pool store and they also said the reading was perfect

Is it normal to be needing to cleaning cartridge filter every 30 minutes? After about 30 minutes the water out flow is low. Clean the filter and it runs fine. I know for sure there is no clog in the pipes. I took the filter out ran it for 2 hours and had no problems. Pool was a swampy green...
