Maytronics Nautilus CC Plus for Inground Pool

I just completed an inground pool build. The pool builder saw I have a Nautilus CC Plus robotic cleaner sitting on the deck. He said to never put it in the pool cause it has a higher potential for tearing the liner compared to the Polaris 280 that the build came with. What are the experts...

    Little Low CYA

When wanting to raise CYA by a little 5-10ppm what’s the best way about doing this? Liquid or dry stabilizer? I’m reading between 25-30ppm this morning. Is this low enough to even worry about?

First day we can actually see the bottom stair liner. We are not through with the SLAM process yet but we can see the light at the end of the tunnel. The biggest lesson learned through this process is PATIENCE. Thank you all so much for the insights and encouragements along the way.

FC is at 48. I’m thinking I got a bad test the other evening and got a little chlorine happy and added way over shock level. Guess the plan is to keep the pump running 24/7 the next few days and ride it out. Got to warm up nicely through the weekend so that’s good news. Any suggestions?

Ok after the intitial slam had a FC reading of 16ppm. This was done Friday. Tonight I test the water and had 0 FC. Now I realize the importance of checking every day to see if it's holding the FC. Obvisously something is in the water eating the Chlorine up. Very cloudy but not green at all...

Ok so looking at the math and is there any issue using the 121oz bottles of Clorox from Dollar General instead of paying the big bucks for a five gallon bucket of Sodium Hypochlorite?

After reading the pool care guides and abc's of pool chemistry would you recommend a 12% sodium hypochlorite or Zap It 73% Cal Hypo pool shock? I'm tired of going to the local pool store to walk out spending more and more money. My plan is to retest tomorrow to see if the copper is still in the...

I never took a fill sample reading but I've never seen staining in toilets, etc. Pool store recommended I put 1L of Metal Free in the water and let the pump run for 24hrs to bring the copper level down. I talked to a family friend and his suggestion once the copper level was zero was to really...
