Thoughts on the Aquabot vs Dolphin Nautilus?

I'll have to sit down next to it and try. It's under water, so kinda hard to grasp.

I thought about this as a possible solution, but think the umbrella would be pretty unstable sitting higher up in the sleeve.

The trim piece unscrews easily, but the base feels like it's glued on.

The deformed part is the water moving around the sleeve. I can unscrew the cap, but not the top piece itself. Feels like it's been glued (pvc glue) to the PVC pipe below. My PB isn't responding, which is par for the course with him.

It's underwater. How's that going to work with the dremel tool?

The umbrella pole is 1.5” which as I understand is standard. I took the top off the sleeve in the shelf and it looks like it’s a collar of some sort on top of PVC pipe. The collar has a lip around the inside which makes the inner diameter slightly smaller. Any idea how I would fix this?

Question about pool umbrellas. My pool builder left this hole on the tanning shelf. He said any standard umbrella would fit. I bought an umbrella and tried to place it in the hole, but it doesn’t fit (wow, that sounds bad when typed). Anyway, what can I do now to get the umbrella to fit?

Thanks! I'll look into that. Is it an issue to keep it plugged in all the time? I would not have considered using an electric cleaner in the pool.

So I'm a fairly new pool owner. We had our pool built late last summer. My pool builder initially put in a Hayward cleaner (all of the equipment is Hayward) which was supposed to be a suction type cleaner run off the same pump as the rest of the pool. Well it never worked... I mean didn't...
