Leak in new pool - they want to drain it

Update. They found zero holes in the liner (yeah) but found a crack in the light housing and a crack in a plastic main drain flange. They have fixed both and are starting the fill. Looks like they are being super diligent about making sure no wrinkles. This company has been really good to...

Leak in new pool - they want to drain it

They state that they will reinstall liner in same fashion with no wrinkles. I have never dealt with this before so if the liner goes back in and has wrinkles I will demand it be fixed. My hope is they find a major problem, warranty the liner and problem solved. Watching them on camera now and...

Leak in new pool - they want to drain it

Pool construction was completed 6 weeks ago and noticed water dropping about 2 weeks ago. Due to impending cold they did not want to just let it drop. Started the drain tonight and about done. This is all on them so just going to let them do their thing. If a seam issue they will warranty...

New VS pump - best size

Re: New VS pump - best size Was looking at equipment that PB installed. Contract says Hayward 1.5 hp pump. Pump installed is 1hp with a SF of 1.1. Is there something I don’t understand about pumps or did I get shorted per contract? Pump has not been wired yet just PVC connected. Model...

New VS pump - best size

They are getting ready to start up my new pool and I am already thinking I made a mistake and should have installed a VS pump (since they have plumbed it in they will not change it out). Current pump is 1.5hp Hayward SuperPump. Pool is 18x36 rectangle with short runs of 2" pipe to pool. 21,000...

Mesh cover: Loop Loc or Meyco

Another option for same price is Meyco solid with mesh drain panels. Lot heavier though. Live in Kansas so will close in October and open in April.

Mesh cover: Loop Loc or Meyco

Narrowed choice to either Meyco Rugged Mesh (99% sun blocking) or Loop Loc dense mesh (Can’t find sun blocking number). Both about the same price from Hydropools.com. Any thought on better of the 2? Thanks

    Safety cover sizing

Looking at a Mesh safety cover (Meyco, pooltux, looploc or gli promesh). I have a standard 18x36 pool with 2” radius corners. I have center steps that measure 41” x 86” outside edge to outside edge. Do I need a cover with 4x6 or 4x8 step? The 4x6 says it is 4x8 and the 4x8 says it is 4x10...
