On reflection I think the flow switch is designed for routine on/off functions. They ship it with a 3 pin plug on the end for 110 Volts and that would be always on.

@Texas Splash which terminals should I use on the relay? I tried 1 and 2 and I tried 2 and 4 as shown in the picture and got no power to the unit.

I installed one of these over the weekend and currently have it plugged into a 110V outlet. I want to hardwire it and plan to connect it to the breaker at the top (filter pump) and the ground to the ground bar at the bottom....at least I assume it's the ground bar as there's only green wires...

It does seem a lot better with only very mild build up, mainly near the spillover. Surface line of pool is very clean.

@JamesW Both pumps do pull from the same Drains. Both pumps do return to the same jets in the tub. Arrows show flow to/from jet pump. Given that everything feeds the same jets I guess they connect somewhere underground. The filter shows 20 PSI when the Spa is on. The filter shows 30 PSI...

Thanks PoolStored. The heater is a Mastertemp 250 and I have the manual but don't see those instructions. Can you please direct me to the instructions? Are these settings appropraite for the Spa?
