okay Added 10 ppm worth of CYA using the sock method. pH now at 7.2 added Chlorine to raise FC to 16 ppm according to pool math app

I'm going to give it a scrubbing and clean filter, pressure is a little high on it, then do the additions. I'll report back the on the overnight test. Thank you all!! flomas

should I be doing the CYA everyday as well or just the chlorine? I added the recommend amount of CYA yesterday and first dose of chlorine, just wasn't sure if I should do it again on the CYA, hoping to get my TF-100 this week

understood, my brother manages the pool store here in my town. He doesn't give me any sales Crud, I did order the TF-100, I need to learn this on my own and get a solid understanding. attached is what he came back with from my pool water I took into the store.
