Hello all, just came back from vacation last night and first thing I checked is my pool. Checked my easy touch panel and my feet got wet? Had to get a flashlight and found out my booster pump is leaking from the shaft behind the plumbed volute? Leak has some rust color in it...

Anyone has any input in this? I am thinking of this or the regular patio cover with cedar post and matching shingles. What would be the pros and cons of either option? Positive aNd negative responses are welcome, thank you. http://www.gardenglasspatios.net/

Any reason why I can not plug my overflow from the pool wall? I do not think I will have any issues in water overflowing in the middle of a very hot summer? It seems that every time I fill in pool to desired level, middle of water line tile, and overflow just immediately above said water...
