The cover is 7 years old fyi.

the rope broke on one side of my auto cover. The pool company says I have to replace tracks pulleys and cover to fix this. Does that sound right? Is there a diy video on fixing the rope without replacing everything. It broke because water level was too low and I didn’t realize it.

Purely for convenience. Go ahead and keep FC at a minimal level. You’ll be adding chlorine a couple times a day. If you keep it higher, you have more time in between dosing.

It’s fine. Just make sure it’s not too old since chlorine degrades overtime. Pool store has fresh supply. Not sure how long hardware store stores their stuff. Check the dates on the bottles.

Your local pool store will have liquid chlorine.

Your pool is cloudy because of algae. You need to do a proper slam. Buy a good test kit and a ton of liquid chlorine. You’ll need to raise your chlorine to slam level until the cloudiness goes away.

How many gallons have you added so far?

Anyone else here have these heaters? I have a Leslie’s very close and looking to replace my old Pentair. Jacuzzi brand is just a rebadged Raypak for Leslie’s. They offer a 5 year warranty on their jacuzzi brand but wonder if I should just get a Hayward instead?

I demo’d The s200 from a local pool store and I like the Polaris so much more. I’m actually starting to really like the Polaris. Might actually keep it. :D

Amazing. I walked my property while backwashing and found the discharge pipe a 100 yards away at the edge of my yard. lol

Anyone know what would happen if the discharge pipe is blocked? Where would the water be forced to go?

Ran it for 12 hours straight over night. Didn’t get stuck once. I’m starting to like this guy. Had a security cam posted on him and kind of cool to see it in fast forward do it’s job. It’s very good at cleaning the water line.

Ran it 6 hours today. Didn’t get stuck or flip over. Cord tangled a little but not terrible.
