I have no overnight chlorine loss tested last night at 8 pm was 5.0 and this mornings test at 7:43 was 5.0. Now my next question is what to use since there is no liquid chlorine or bleach available in stores, guess I will have to use the 3" chlorine puck.

I am going to hold off on the SLAM until I hear what this storm in the gulf is going to do, but I am going to add some dry acid to lower the PH to 7.2

I re-ran the CYA test as you described above and the CYA still reads 60 and I also rechecked the FC and it it down to 3 ppm from 7 ppm at 6:15 this morning.

I will try that when I get back home from the VA Hospital and I will redo the CYA test and do it like you said.

I added 33 oz of chlorine I will check the FC in about an hour to see where it stands and then check it about 6:15 in the morning to see if I lost any FC, hopefully did not lose any.
