I just test the CC and it registered 0. However, my R-0003 expired in 6/19.

I had forgotten what CC stands for. I typically add chlorine once a day in the mornings to bring it up to 16. It has usually dropped from 16 to 11 by the next morning. The days that I have checked it at night, then again the next morning, it has gone from 16 to 14 and I would give it a shot...

Also, with the info I gave above, is there any possibility that this pool will clear by Wednesday. Water is cheap here, chlorine is not.

I think the water looks a little cloudy. You need to buy a TF100 test kit and post a complete set of test results.

It could take about a week for the CYA to completely dissolve to enable me to get an accurate measurement with the CYA test. I also tried the bucket method first and it did not appear that my CYA was increasing as it should. I then used the sock method. I did all this over the course of one...

Think of it this way, if you have any joint, valve, piece of equipment, that may need to be tightened up due to a leak or need to be replaced in the future, you won’t be able to if it is glued into your run of PVC pipe. You would have to cut that part out and redo the plumbing. Unions enable...
