@jimmythegreek i can't tell below the water line have the vinyl has laid down but I assume it has shifted toward the center of the pool hence the extreme pulling at the skimmer but who knows. I guess I'll remove the skimmer plate once I have a larger piece of vinyl for patching. Thanks very much...

I have let it run a few hours after the power cycle and the pressure remained at 12 psi. Like I never added the DE in the first place.

I have a reoccurring situation that I can't find an answer to. When I am using DE in my filter, which i do occasionally, I normally let the pump run until the pressure rises to a point where I feel I need to backwash. This usually happens in about 10 hours or so. My nominal pressure is 12 psi...

Hello and good morning to all. At this point should I vacuum to waste or through the filter? I have been vacuuming to waste, refilling pool water to normal level and then adjusting FC to the appropriate level. Thanks in advance.

Another question: Is there any issues with me getting FC up to 22 in the morning before I leave for work? That way I don't have to worry about the levels falling too low in my absence?
