Pentair Intelibrite/globrite replacement board or Sunseeker Aftermarket?

@vjc103 I'm in the multiple failed Globrite pentair family. I've got two more out right now after having 2 replaced previously. Things are just Crud. Are you saying that micro and Globrite are interchangeable? I don't care if I lose color I just want something that will last longer than the...

    Intelliflow pump setting question

@Jimrahbe Argghh.. So I managed to get a windows virtual machine running and managed to get the pentair screen logic configurator running, but now in this menu I've managed to somehow select these settings and there is no reset or delete so I can't put them back to normal. None of the "circuit...

Intellicenter Upgrade kit - yes or no?

I am using screen logic. Well I don't have to "log in" but every time I go to another app or the phone closes the app basically reloads and goes to the local/remote section and then after second will show main menu. It basically re-connects every time instead of just keeping it open. It's...

    Intelliflow pump setting question

@Jimrahbe I couldn't get the app to work and in fact somehow I messed up and my heat pump now says "solar". What app on PC is used? I just installed a windows VM so I can run anything on win10 now. I tried pentair screen logic connect but can't seem to edit anything and Pentair's download...

Intellicenter Upgrade kit - yes or no?

We have an ~3 year old Pentair intellitouch controller - originally i5+3 but had some expansion board put in so I think it's equivalent maybe to i7 or i9+3 now. The app is kinda annoying - you have to login from scratch anytime you ever open it. And things like changing pump speed make it...

Not sure how I get to that screen - I don’t see it in my Screenlogic app. I can’t seem to find a way to add new circuits.

    Intelliflow pump setting question

We have IntelliFlo pool control and variable speed pump. It is setup that under pump I have 4 settings: Pool, spa, cleaner (in-floor) and Spillway My question is this: Can I add a second "pool" setting with a higher RPM setting so that I can schedule the pool to run most of the day at a very...

Looking for ways to reduce energy consumption, booster pump efficiency

I've tried to get mine lower and I get low flow reading on my SWG. Is there a trick? Is it the way my pool is plumbed? Ours is running at 1750rpm and there is marked decrease in energy if you slow the pump down

Eyeball aim/size or skimmer/floor return balance - best way to ensure proper skimming?

Our pool installer put very small eyeballs into our pool because they can't get enough pressure into our in-floor cleaning system to meet factory spec. We have since put that on a separate timed circuit so pool return is not active during cleaning cycle. So now I'm thinking these small (3/8")...

    Heat Pump & Pool Cover

Heat pump will do next to nothing at those temps and even if it did unless You ran it 24/7 the pool would drop overnight and it wouldn’t be warm. It would likely take 1-2 days of running just to get it to temp and it would cost probably $10+ day to run

Screenlogic I changed out new routers but locally it will not connect

No the change in DHCP was several months ago. Screenlogic was stable on the 10.0.0.1 network for months. All I did was relocate wiring and add a new switch, no router changes when this happened.

Screenlogic I changed out new routers but locally it will not connect

Appreciate the replies - I know a little more than average about networking but I'm NOT a CCNA for sure. I changed my network to class A primarily to get an entirely different range of IP addresses when I moved so as to see easily anything left from my old network which was the more typical...

Screenlogic I changed out new routers but locally it will not connect

All I did was add a new managed switch and rewired most of my network (moved into rack in a network closet). Router remained the same. IP range is 10.0.0.1 / 255.255.255.0. router is Firewalla Gold into unifi managed switch network. IP of Screenlogic is within that range (10.0.0.214) . IP...

Screenlogic I changed out new routers but locally it will not connect

Did this get fixed? I redid my network and now I can't connect to my screenlogic2 interface (same as seen above). It has an IP - I can see it on my network / router. My switch confirms the same IP. I have a red light on hte bottom of the interface. Pressed button 3 times nothing seems to...

    Door Sensors

Just keep in mind it is highly unlikely that any of these door chime systems meet code. In almost all locales it requires either a barrier or an alarm. I know it’s common practice to remove the alarms as they are annoying but these little magnetic contact switches are not a replacement.

Pentair IntelliCenter Pool Control Dashboard Instructional Guide

I have an Intellitouch I5+3, it has communication to my network via the wireless Screenlogic wireless protocol adapter. I assume since it was not mentioned that this is not a substitute for running a hardwire. I assume I will also have to buy the communication port expander board - i.e. you...

EasyTouch - 4 valve limit? Crazy?

Sorry I didn't f/u until now have been out of state. I'm mad at pentair because a non-expandable design like that is just poor engineering IMO. But you're right that the pool builder did not anticipate nor educate me. They actually pushed me away from the IntelliCenter when we had our...

I think it's a great option, its why I suggested it :) But seriously, the ability to fill the void disperse pressure over a wide base and shore up weak spots it makes sense. Get them out and get a bid and ask to speak to folks they have done work like this before. Let us know.

    SCREENLOGIC HELP

I would love to learn more about this as well. I've got a pretty robust firewall on my home network and I've never had any remote access issues so I have assumed the communication is going through pentair and its connection to the unit at my house. I never had to open any ports or change any...

    SCREENLOGIC HELP

That is just nonsense. There is no such thing as “too fast” internet. And a switch will not slow it down either. Ethernet communication is independent of speed. Are you talking about the wireless interface that goes onto the network or are you plugging Ethernet directly into the pentair...

I've seen technology where they inject concrete and/or foam under sagging concrete slabs to fix the problem. it doesn't involve excavation. This technology might be able to be used to support the bottom of the pool without tearing it all out. just a thought.

EasyTouch - 4 valve limit? Crazy?

We have a pool less than a year old. Built by highly recommended pool company and (we think) was built well. They only use Pentair, so that's what we got. When we built they discouraged intellitouch and installed Eztouch for control. We have an infloor cleaning system that doesn't get...

    Excavating problems.. who is responsible?

It’s his problem. He has to price jobs to include the times when that kind of thing happens (which it does) and manage his schedule accordingly.

IntelliCenter Home Automation Integration and Control

I'm so excited that once I get some other projects done I can start in on this one! Looks so good. I hate the delay that happens each time I start up the pentair app and really want an Ipad on the wall with pool control available all the time. Really appreciate you all who have this level of...
