Can't get my handrail tight enough

So I've seen a lot of posts from people who can't get their handrails out, but I'm having the opposite problem. My handrail can't seem to get tight enough, it twists quite a bit when using it to get out of the pool. It's sitting in 2 brass fittings that have bolts that are supposed to be...

In floor cleaning? Worth the money?

My Paramount ICS was $5000. It works perfectly, it has its own pump for the cleaning jets, 4 hours a day has been keeping it spotless, I'm going to experiment with shorter times, I'm betting I can get it down to 2 hours.

Y'all have me terrified about CYA - and my PB is a jerk

They didn't, they were about too, but by that time I had found TFP and I asked the guy who was there to start it the first time to give it to me, so I have it. This weekend I plan to pull the minerals out and replace it with the plug.

Y'all have me terrified about CYA - and my PB is a jerk

No, it's a fusion 2 puck chlorinator, I'm leaving it out of my signature to avoid ridicule [emoji4] Also I don't plan to use it going forward so it's not really relevant anymore.

Y'all have me terrified about CYA - and my PB is a jerk

Thanks for the quick replies - just checked my chemicals - my TC is at .5 (FC is 0, CC is .5), so clearly in the Texas sun, the chlorinator isn't keepingup. CYA is now a little less than 50, my PH was over 8. Alkalinity is 100. I added 3 cups of Muriatic acid, and 1 and half jugs of...

Y'all have me terrified about CYA - and my PB is a jerk

So, New pool, just started it up. Well - I should say I started it up for the second time - on Friday the 1st. So we first started the pool on the 23rd, as a pool newbie who hadn't found TFP, I went with my PB's recommendations on pool equipment. They installed a Fusion2 which I now know...

Liquid chlorine getting hard to find

I live in the Dallas area and when I do a search their site says there's no stores within 100 miles that stock this product.

Build in Tampa - Pool, spa, lanai, outdoor kitchen, oy vey

Re: Build in Tampa - Pool, spa, lanai, outdoor kitchen, oy vey Still much lower than what I paid. I'm at $60k with no spa, no sun shelf, no bubbles no automation. $5k of that is for the in floor cleaning system, so $55k for bare bones.

Build in Tampa - Pool, spa, lanai, outdoor kitchen, oy vey

Re: Build in Tampa - Pool, spa, lanai, outdoor kitchen, oy vey Those prices seem exceptionally low. Maybe pools are just more expensive in Texas

New Pool - just completed - Fort Worth, TX

Hi, Found this forum a little too late, my pool was just completed. We went with the pool builders recommendation on all of the equipment, we were on a tight budget so didn't want to indulge in things like wifi control and rainbow led lighting. The PB did install a Fusion 2 which I know...

New pool with Paramount PCC2000 ICS - They haven't installed an EDC - is that common?

Sorry, I think I posted this in the wrong forum last night..hopefully this is the right spot - So like the title says, my new pool has a PCC2000 ICS. I've had a lot of distractions this summer that have kept me from being as on top of things as I would have liked. When we went through the...
