Thanks. My guess is 230 would also explain why I have a double circuit breaker instead of a single. There are no other wires going into the motor other than the external ground which is a pretty heavy gauge.

If it helps, here is a picture of the main motor wiring. I don't really know much about being an electrician, but would this be 2 hot and 1 neutral? The case has an external ground wire. No idea why this picture is right side up and the last one was rotated :).
