Lost 10 psi on filter overnight...what to check?

So since the pool was built (2017) and the first start up, our filter/pump has always had high psi. It runs around 28-29 psi. I asked the PB about it and he said that it was fine and that some pools run high psi and some run lower. We have a pretty big pool and I'm sure the plumbing lines are on...

    Heat Pump VS Solar Heating

For what it's worth, I live in Indiana so climate is a little different, however I'll just add this here. We just opened over the weekend. Pool temp was 52 when I turned the pump and heater on. It was upper 60's during the day and dropped to around mid 50's sunday night. The past 2 days our...

I live in Brazil and have a cyclone. If you want to give that a try, by all means shoot me a message and I'll be gladly to let you use it.

    Light Wire not long enough

All of my lights (5) are ran to a junction box located right next to our pool cover motor. From there they are all connected together then ran to the panel. I'd imagine that you could do the same thing.

Pool and spa lights not working

I end up just replacing with the same light. The ones that have went out are the older serial numbers that hayward has updated since. I'm hoping these new batches of lights are longer lasting. Also, I'm not sure I can run other lights since I'm using the Omnilogic for automation.

Pool and spa lights not working

I have 5 small LED lights (hayward colorlogic) in my pool. 3 of the 5 have already had to be replaced after 3 yrs. I've come to the conclusion that Hayward lights suck.

    Hayward Omnilogic Lighting

If you downloaded the files in Internet explorer to the USB, you have to delete the .txt at the end of the file. It will be visible after that on the main display. I went nuts on this trying to figure it out but noticed on one of the instruction pages, it says at the very bottom to use...

    Number of lights in pool

We have a 20x44 rectangle pool. We put in 5 (1.5 inch) colorlogic led lights. 3 on one side, 2 on the other. It lights the pool up amazingly. I only wish we would have done 1 more to equal out both side.

Can I blow out lines through sand filter?

2 years closing and both years blew lines on filter mode. No problems with filter on the following opening. We have our equipment in a pool house so draining is a no no for us.

Hayward OmniLogic and networked ColorLogic Lighting, is finally here

I have my lights on the Main relay on my OmniLogic. I updated the firmware but nothing indicates/shows that I have the option for more colors/shows. I heard that you have to have the current generation of lights in order for it to work, but I still don't see any changes in the options on the...

Omnilogic relays failing after update of firmware

Is it just the files that aren't visible when trying to update it? I did this last night. I got to the option of upgrading the MSP and MP. Once I hit the MP, it gave me a USB/ but none of the files were showing up and they did previously on the MSP. If you downloaded the files in Internet...

OmniLogic owners inside please......latest firmware (R3.1.0)???

Couple of questions for you owners running an OmniLogic. I received an email I think last week stating new firmware was released for Omni products. The firmware on their website was released on 5/20/2019 for MSP (Main System Processor). I followed the directions to upload the file into my...

    Wasps, soap, salt, questions......

This right here. We have not had wasp issues at all this year after hanging up 3-4 of these in random places around the pool and patio. Give it a shot.

    OmniLogic Network Trouble

I was having the same issue with mine at the beginning of this year. What I found was that the Omnilogic device was picking up a 5 GHz channel (which is good for speed, but not for distance). I forced the signal to a 2.4 GHz (good for distance, but not speed) band and haven't had any...

    Hayward colorlogic light

Are you using an automation system to run them? If so, there's a sync button that should fix this problem ( I have one in the omnilogic panel). I don't know how to sync them manually though if you're not using automation.

    New Build - Eastern MA

We went with that same liner. This might give you a better idea of what it might look like. Mind you this was the first day the water was in and an overcast day. It looks really great when cleared up and in the sun. - - - Updated - - - Here's what the liner looks like in person compared to...

Adequate LED Lighting for new pool

We have a 20x44 inground pool and went with the hayward colorlogic LED lights (5 total). We placed 3 on one side and 2 on the other. Plenty enough light across the pool.

    Omnilogic salt cell not working

Could you take the panel off on the omnilogic and take a pic so we can see the relay wiring? That would help diagnose the problem. Did you install the system yourself or did someone else do it? I could take a pic of mine to compare. I have the exact same automation and T-Cell.

    SWG with a Vinyl IG?

Not sure why your builder is telling you that. Our PB has installed (along with ours) multiple steel wall pools (vinyl) with SWG's. Not one mention of corrosion problems from him. So far in the 2 months we have had ours, the biggest problem was trying to dial in the chemistry and figuring out...

Location Indiana - Close or keep it open

Hey everyone, New to owning a pool. Just had it installed close to a month ago. I've been following all the steps here to maintain the correct chemistry and feel that I have it pretty dialed in. So on to my next worry, Closing! Here in Indiana, we do get below freezing temps. Sometimes it...

    Bidding in Wilmington Ohio

    1. We just finished up a 20x44 and only have one. So far no concerns. 2. We have 2 skimmers and 2 returns 3. That's almost the exact setup we went with. As long as you have a good PB, everything looks great! Here's a finished pic of ours. This was about a month ago.

My Pool Audio Build -- help needed

IMO, the AW6500's are amazing. I was in your same situation about a month ago. Reading reviews on them made me pull the trigger but was still hesitant because well it is the internet. Just to give you an overview of the area, here is my layout. My setup for this is the following 4 DT...

    First accurate test....opinions/critique needed

Performed an OCLT last night. I didn't loose any at all. 14---->14. I added some more conditioner last night to get me up to the 70 level. So I guess I just need to work on dialing my SWG in and then start adding acid every once and awhile to drop TA.

    First accurate test....opinions/critique needed

So last night I ran my pump on low and chlorinator at 100% from 730 to 700 this morning. I did a quick FC and CC test. FC 15 CC .5 I gained 4 ppm overnight. Does this count as an OLTC test or should I leave my chlorinator off for a full night and see how much I lost? I left the cover off...

    First accurate test....opinions/critique needed

Didn't really have a procedure. I scrubbed all the walls and floor. Dumped about 4 gallons of chlorine (12.5%). And waited to test. That was Thursday night and got the 18 FC reading. I think my CC was 1.5 at the time as well. The pool was left uncovered for most of the weekend during the day...

    First accurate test....opinions/critique needed

Hello everyone. New to the site for about a week. This is my first post and was hoping I could get some feedback from the pros. So our new pool was installed about 2 weeks ago. 31k ING, SWG. Was told by some friends that nothing was needed. Just set the chlorinator around 55% and run it 9-12...
