    Auto cover tear

Hi, Our pool was opened a couple of weeks ago and I noticed this tear in the cover. It is at the very end when it is open away from the motor. How to we mend this? It is only 2 1/2 years old and want to get a few more years left of the cover. Thanks!

    Tarp type cover?

Thanks again for all the help! So if I put the noodles in the skimmer I should be ok to raise the water level above the skimmer? So that would displace the antifreeze, but with the noodles would that matter? Sorry to be so dense.

    Tarp type cover?

Do you think it is a good idea to use the tarp instead of the auto cover? What do the pool noodles do in the skimmer?

    Tarp type cover?

Yes, we purchased an auto cover a couple of years ago as we have grandchildren and dogs. The pool itself also has a fence around it as another barrier. We had a mesh safety cover that I sold when we put the auto cover on as our pool guy said to use the safety cover year round. I could kick...

    Tarp type cover?

Hi, We have an automatic cover that we use year round. Every winter I have worried about the water level being too low as first year it caved in due to a leak in the pool. Anyway, I cannot afford to purchase a safety cover and have thought of getting a tarp to use in the winter and not use...

    Winter questions

Hi, We have had our auto cover two winters. The first winter our pool had a leak and water level dropped and cover caved in. Liner has been replaced and all seems well with the pool. I must say I am a little paranoid about the water level during the winter. Last winter was mild and I...

Auto cover vs buying winter safety cover

Hello, We are planning on closing our pool mid-October and have used our autocover the past two winters. I have seen these safety covers on Amazon and have thought of getting one to save wear on the auto cover. Has anyone used any of these covers? They seem much cheaper than other places...

    Liner replaced tomorrow

The reason I thought I couldn’t run the pump is because the pool company said they may not be able to add chemicals or open pool until Monday if it fills too late. That is why I was asking how to open the pool once liner is installed, and Poolstored has given good instructions. Since we have...

    Liner replaced tomorrow

I hate to sound dumb, but since they are filling it with a truck, will just be water, so just do my chemicals according to the results I get?

    Liner replaced tomorrow

Hi, Here are more pics of equipment. I hope these help. Should the suction not be closed? Our pool company has opened and closed it every year, so have not really paid attention to that. We have been doing the seasonal care of pool. Also does everyone wait 24-48 hours after opening their...
