Don't buy any of their pool products. They have "other ingredients" that you can't find. Their algaecide was 3% copper and 97% other ingredients. I took it back

I read somewhere that u have to do the CYA test in the sun. I can't find those instructions to save my life. Please send me to the right place or tell me how to test CYA. Tia

Wow. I had no idea. I changed the filter. I swam and swept and vacuumed it yesterday. That's just since then. I didn't test my cya in the sun but the water is 80° plus. Does this matter or should I do it again?

Don't have it anymore. But can't figure out what turned to clay in my filter. It literally looks like wet cat litter

Re: New K2006 test kit. Where do I begin? I've been dealing with algae, mustard algae to be specific. Before I got my test kit, I was utilizing the wonderful skills (cough cough) of the pool people. And Clorox Pool and Spa... Apparently whatever I put in my pool turned to Clay in my filter...

Finally broke down and got the k2006 test kit from Taylor. I thought I was :confused: when I put up my pool then I got this. Where do I start? I admit, I'm too lazy to scroll thru to find this exact topic so don't spank too hard. Pleeease (in my Jessica rabbit voice)

I was given a sand and swg pump but no filter. I'm trying to find one but in the meantime is there any way to plum them together so I at least have more power and a filter? It is a CS20110 by Intex. I really need the power. TIA

After further research, it is just the tank. Dadgummit. Might be just as cheap to get the whole shabang And sell the PUMP as is. Nothing is easy I guess. And pool companies treat u differently when u say intex Thanks Jeff

I found the part number from intex. Horrible customer service. Its $40 new. How would I disable the saltwater generator? I can't find anybody around me to offer help

That makes sense now. I can't seem to find just the filter but I'll keep looking. Thank you. Will i need to make it saltwater too?

I got this pump free and it seems to work. I only have the PUMP and not the big container standing beside it in the picture. I don't necessarily care about converting it to salt but can I just use the sand pump and filter basket with it? It does seem to pump the pool just fine but I dont want...
