Upper seam ripping in above ground pool

Hi Melissa, the tape could be a very temporary fix and just a band aide to a more serious issue. Is the pool on level ground? If not I suggest addressing that. just my 2 cents. Mike.

Can I start with bleach and then...

Hi folks! I'm back for year 2 and I look forward crystal clear water again. I'm thinking of switching to a salt water system, the price is nice for a little pool like my 14' X 42" Intex. Would it be a waste of time and money because of my short summer? I set the pool up today and the pool is...

    My Summer is Officially Over

Sorry to hear Casey, I know how it is. I had my left foot done 4 yrs ago. My big toe was pointing 45* left and the 2 toes after were floating out of joint. I looked like Franken Foot with 4 pins sticking out. After a few weeks the Doc would spin the pins to keep 'em free...I know you'all are...

Intex Deluxe Wall Mount Surface Skimmer

Hi Christi, I have the same vacuum kit and the flow adapter, (gray top hat looking thingy) fits on one of the 2 inlets under the threaded cover. I don't know what you can do about the hose adapter, mine screws on the other inlet. Mike. as state my items go to the vacuum kit and not a wall skimmer.

    Switching inflow and outflow lines.

Hi J.B. I think I have the same filter/pump as you. it is rated at 1000 gallons /hr with 2 suction and 1 return. My thought is the filter/pump needs 2 suction so flow is adequate given the resistance of the cartridge filter. I do understand your wanting to put a skimmer up higher where the...

1st pool all kinds of questions!

...hi cj, I've been following your thread and hats off for your patients. My advice for your double drive gates are with respect there are little people in the house. Self closing springs on gates can be a curious pinch point for little fingers, (ouch!) air cylinders are a good option. The gates...

Spillover zone around frame pool base

Without a picture or sketch of your layout it is hard to advise you. I'm thinking your slope above the cut out area could direct water towards your pool as well and if this is the case you may want to bury some corrugated drainage pipe under the 1 foot space next to the pool and cover it with...
