My SWG is showing a red light which apparently indicates low salt levels. I used my Taylor k-1766 to test and it read 4400ppm. My SWG says ideal level should be 3400ppm.. I'm very confused... JMS

Thank you. The pool is super clear and all numbers are balanced correctly. It's more of a peace of mind thing. Mice are full of diseases so figured a little bleach would help.

I had two dead mice in my pool so I'd like to do a shock of the pool. I've never done a shock. I have a 20k salt water pool. How much shock do I use? I do plan on using bleach since I've been reading it's the same thing. Thanks in advance.

I just opened my pool last Sunday. I've been running it 24/7 bc I was adding the few chemicals I was told to. I just finished my 72 hours cycle last night after adding the conditioner. I plan on switching it to 8 AM to 6 PM run time. With the levels I'm at, should I do that now?
