Thanks for the follow up. I have a Bestway pool, which I believe is the same as the intex frame. My frame has plastic inserts for each pipe connection, and plastic feet for each leg. Im thinking every piece of metal would need to be bonded in order to ensure everything has equal potential. Is...

The intex pool frame has plastic on each tube where it inserts, and a plastic pin to hold in place. Does the frame still need to be bonded?

Okay another question. More on the how to. My local hardware store only carries 50ft of 8awg bare copper wire. Does the wire need to be continuous? Or can i connect two 50ft wires using the split bolt connector? Same for when connecting to pool legs can i connect to the halo with a seperate...

Okay thank you, I wasn't sure if it was per code to put it 18 inches away. Im in the process of putting it up now, but started reading about the Bonding.

Is it okay that bond copper wire is less than 18 inches out from pool wall by retaining wall?

Another thought i had is extending out past the retaining wall to the dirt on other side. But how can i connect to the pool legs discreetly? Do the legs by retaining wall have to ne connected or can the legs away from retaining wall be connected instead only. Here is a pic: to get a better idea...

Okay, so the bonding needs to be installed even if its double insulated but just not connected (available for future upgrades to pump) to be code compliant?

Eh i just went over it again with tiller and built up areas and leveled with gravel, and used a plate compactor (hitting any hard clay lumps with 4lb mini sledge to flatten). All sides are even and all areas are flat now. Will be adding sand. I will post pictures when complete for anyone else...
