I have read nearly all 15 pages in the pool cleaner section but haven't found anyone specifically address a robotic for an AGP without a flat bottom. I am leaning towards the aquabot but wondered if anyone with an AGP sans flat bottom has had any problems? The sloping to the center is gradual...

Thanks Melt, I wondered what happens and thought I heard CYA can build up and it is a matter of water replacement to correct it. It made me wonder if MA was the same. Also, I appreciate the layman's terms, I feel all goofy when trying to discuss chemicals and their reactions. :?

Strike that aeration....I was thinking it lowered PH but I got confused. I was thinking about the ways to lower TA and it was an MA and aeration method....need more coffee. In any case, is it proper to add more MA or should I wait a few more days? I am not clear on what would be the proper...

Duraleigh, I have not yet added the additional MA, I decided to let my family swim and then I would before bed. I got the calculation targeting a 7.0 ph, which in turn should lower this TA, if I am reading things right

The fill water is well water, but it is a community well that is monitored/treated. I do have scaling to the point that my stand alone ice maker has been repaired twice. I don't know if that makes a difference
