I keep my bleach and acid in a closet inside my house. I thought it’s best to keep them out of the heat and cold. But now after reading all these posts, maybe I should move them to the garage. I keep 1-2 of acid and 3-4 of bleach.

When coming back from vacation I was very surprised to see it had dropped from 6/7 to 4. This was with running it 12 hours a day at 80%. I was expecting it to be 6/7 or higher.

Does anyone know if a SWG is bubbling, does that mean it’s for sure creating chlorine?

No unfortunately not. My tests aren’t expired and I keep everything inside my house. I would love to know what has caused this drastic change.

We just got home from a 7 day vacation. My chlorine is down to 4. It was to 6-7 before we left. My CYA was 80, now 70ish after some rain. I’m running the pump 12 hours a day and SWG at 80%. (I always run it 8 hours a day at 30% and never had a problem until now. The manual says 30% is...

Because I have to manually add chlorine every day. I have turned up the % and the pump running time. It’s not helping. Every summer I run it 8 hours a day at 30% and very rarely have to manually add chlorine. I up’ed it to 9 hours at 60% and I still have to add bleach. I have a Jandy Truclear.
