Why does the hose water need to be warmer than the pool water?

Drains at the deep end pool water from hose is pretty warm. I don’t even trust my judgement on the CYA levels. I feel like that is the most subjective test. Exactly when do I stop adding the mixture. As soon as the dot gets blurry or totally not visible at all? And are we positive that the 4800...

I have an auto drain on my pool. Could I dilate by putting the water hose in and after my pool reaches a certain level it drains to maintain that level?

I feel like this is going to be beyond my level of knowledge. Is this something I should try to call a local company to do for me?

We filled the pool with our water hose in the past to fill from empty.

TF-100 test results. Keep in mind I just added acid today because my PH was 8.2 yesterday. Chlorine 0 Calcium 300 TA 100 PH 7.2 Cya 90 I have no idea why my pool isn’t holding chlorine.

I’m not worried about the phosphate levels it’s the stains that I need advice on.

Last year I started getting small circular stains on the bottom of our pool. The stains have increased in number over the year but all chemicals are in check and my water is always crystal clear. I’m starting to think these are coming from our yard man getting granules of fertilizer and weed...

My PB is my pool store too.

I told them I suspected the algaecide we were using was causing the blue stains because it contains copper but Bioguard swore it could not be that because it was sequestered copper but after all their testing they had us change from the algaecide we were using to Algae All 60.

I know they have tested my fill water but I don't have those numbers. I will get them from the pool store. This pool has been a nightmare. We are doing everything our builder/store has told us to for chemicals and at 8 months old we started getting blue staining on the tanning ledge over...
