There doesn't seem to be any issue with the flow. Air does blow out the return for about 20-30 seconds after I do a backwash but that's it.

Just had a thought....does your pump basket lid sit flush before you screw on the plastic ring or is it almost like its crooked but once you screw on the ring it seams ok? I'm wondering if I got a bad/warped lid that's causing air to get in.

I've only had this pool a year as well so this is still all new to me. I had not the slightest idea how to care for a pool at the beginning of last season lol anyways I have tried backwash and rinse and that didn't do anything. I had the same thought. Thank you for your input though!

I have opened it and I have to shake it a little bit to get more air out and this is the best I can ever get it. Is it ok to run like this? Im not sure where air would be coming in at I've checked everything and its all secure

I have a 10x30 intex east set pool. Last year I used 1 inch tablets and always kept a couple in at a time. This year I ordered 3 inch tablets by mistake and they won't fit into my dispenser. Can I break them up into smaller pieces to fit?
