    Pool Math v50569 ~ Suggestions

Leebo, I am on an android phone. The OVERVIEW area is what I am referring to. The old OVERVIEW area had tiles in a 2x5 presentation. This allowed all measurements to be viewed on a single screen. With the current new look, the OVERVIEW area is presented in a 1x9 view. This requires one to...

    Pool Math v50569 ~ Suggestions

First off. Thanks for keeping us up to date with Pool Math. It has definitely become an indispensable tool for keeping up my pool. So far the only comment I have on the new look and feel of the app is that I did prefer the old summation page for my android. Otherwise the rest of the new look...

Dolphin Nautilus CC Plus in Above ground pool?

Not saying it will work for you, but I had an aboveground pool before I had the inground pool installed. My first and only robot cleaner was the Nautilus CC Plus that I bought for the aboveground and now use in my new pool. It worked equally well in both.

Does anyone’s Nautilus CC struggle going up the walls sometimes?

Mine does a poor job of cleaning the walls, coping, stairs, and ledges. He only climbs the walls every other pass. and then he may move along the rim of the pool for maybe a yard before diving back to the bottom. I really do not mind this since he does an excellent job on the bottom of the...

    Betta SE Plus

Tcat, I did redirect almost all of my pool suction to the floor drains rather than the skimmer since the skimmer is basically not needed anymore. A couple of advantages to having the Betta SE is that: I barely ever have to clean out the skimmer any more I do not have to worry about over taxing...

New EVO 614i Robot Pool Cleaner Review

Correct. I never use the coarse filter for my robot. Not sure why you would choose the coarse over the fine. Now I do not own an EVO, but my Dolphin never misses a leaf or dirt when I use the fine.

New EVO 614i Robot Pool Cleaner Review

I have always used the fine filter on my robot for everything. If I am cleaning, it might as well be picking up everything.

What’s your water temp - Spring 2024 edition

74 here in the Florida Panhandle. We have been swimming about every day since the water went to 73 degrees. It is very cold getting in but you adjust pretty quick. We only stay in for about 1 hour. Once it gets into the 80's we will be able to spend the whole weekends just floating around.

Do Nautilus Plus CC and the Nautilus Plus CC with Wifi use the same base robot? Having issues with the connection with the power supply..

Bob, I was told when I got mine that the only difference was the power supply. Matter of fact, they said that if I wanted to upgrade to wifi in the future, I would just need to buy the power supply from Maytronics.

RIP to my Nautilus CC plus. Exactly 7 years of service.

You are going to kick yourself for waiting so long once you get one. It is one of those things like a SWG that you do not realize how nice it is to have one until you actually have it.

    Ladder recommendations

When we had our above ground pool, we had those same plastic steps but had them on both outside and inside the pool (i.e., no ladder). They were very sturdy and did NOT touch the side of the pool. We did place a mat on the floor of the pool to set the inside steps on so as not to hurt the...

RIP to my Nautilus CC plus. Exactly 7 years of service.

Ansem, Keep us informed on what you decide to do. I have had my Nautilus CC Plus forever too. Since I have never had a different robot, I have nothing to compare it to. If you decide to switch, it would be nice to hear what you think compared to your old Nautilus.

    Robot Vacuum Recommendations

I second the above statements. I have owned a Dolphin Nautilus CC Plus since 2017. I bought it to use in my ABG and now use it in my in-ground pool. It does an excellent job cleaning the bottom of the pool easily sucking up leaves, acorns, and even sand. I wish I could tell you how much...

About to pull the trigger on Cartridge Filter, please help

Gflande1, I have the Hayward Swimclear Cartridge Filter C4530. It has 4 filter cartridges that are 112sqft. I have cleaned this system 3 times ( 1. after initial fill, 2. a year later, 3. a year after that). The internal filters are in perfect condition still and wash up nicely. It is a...

    Betta SE Plus

I have the standard SE model. However, I have never had a real need to take it out and plug it in to charge the battery. Sure on cloudy days, it may not run the entire night cleaning. But so what if I miss one night of cleaning. It is back on the job again once the sun peaks out.

We Have a Winner! TFP Pool of the Month (February 2024); Theme - Equipment Pads

Dan, I agree. There have definitely been some fancy setups here. Looking at the last picture. Is that a hand pump on the far right? Is that used to prime whatever that black box is? Also the far right pump does not seem to be connected to a filter system and its flow is regulated by the...

PoolStored, I am no expert, but you might want to put a lid on that pump. Makes them much easier to operate. /nod

    Instapark Betta review

DJPool, I have discovered that the above action is related to the amount of water in my pool. After a strong rain, my pool may fill up to about 1 inch from the top of the coping. When this happens, the SE sensors do not see the edge of the pool and the SE will just sit at the edge of the pool...

    Instapark Betta review

Through the summer, I have run my pumps at low RPMs, Skimmer nearly turned off, and pumps only ran for 12 hours with the last hour ran at a faster RPM to clean out any air bubbles. I have had the SWCG set generally at 70% to maintain a perfect FC level. My hope is that this lower run time and...

    Instapark Betta review

This is a wonderful little robot. My SE runs 24/7 and keeps the surface nearly spotless. Living in Florida we have all the different bug seasons (beetle, cicada, wasp, spider, etc..). Since I have purchased this little guy, I have hardly ever seen a bug floating on the surface. Before, we...

Just getting started with a K-2006 Am I doing this right?

I am surprised your SWCG is working with your salt at 1900ppm. Mine starts complaining around 2300ppm. Are you sure you are not getting a low salt warning?

    Reducing Skimmer Suction

I did not lube the o-ring or clean it. I just removed it and rotated it. Grrr... back into the heat I go. UPDATE: I cleaned and lubricated everything. No more bubbles.

    Reducing Skimmer Suction

Pump is currently at lowest speed to still adequately produce chlorine through the SWCG, so that was not an option. Gene, you were right about the INLET being at the bottom of the tee. However the pool builder did not put the INLET at the pump inlet. He put the INLET portion on the skimmer...

    Reducing Skimmer Suction

Jim, I currently have a Skimmer robot that gets stuck on the pool skimmer inlets because the suction is too high. If I can use the valve to reduce the amount of suction from the skimmer, the robot will have enough powwer to not get stuck. I have some trees that tend to drop a large amount of...

    Reducing Skimmer Suction

This is my valve I need to adjust. On the far right is the suction coming from the bottom pool drains. It currently is CLOSED for this illustration. The bottom line is the skimmer and where my question arises (has red circles on it). From the current valve position, I can turn the valve...
